As an educator I try and provide a safe and open environment for student to learn and grow. Every student has the potential and ability to succeed on a musical and personal level and my job is to get them there. Music as a whole, guitar in particular is very personal and I believe everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and sometimes the only route for a student’s success is through patience and leading them to the right direction. I aim to perpetuate knowledge and inspire learning.

 

The success of a teacher lies in their ability to reach their students. I believe the key to a successful student-teacher relationship is “communication” and “inspiration”. Understanding and assessing the students abilities is a vital part of teaching for example some students learn better visually, some aurally and some kinesthetically and it is almost essential for a teacher to appeal to all these different learning patterns and construct a teaching plan accordingly.

 

In my lessons I concentrate on the weaknesses and strive to make the strengths even stronger. I routinely examine my students based on their assignments and in-lesson progress to track their growth and derive a clear picture about their learning curve. I make a conscious effort to push the student to the next level so they can ultimately find their own sound on their instrument.

Cost

 

• $70-for 60-minute lesson

• $35-for 30-minute lesson

• $200 –for four 60-minute lessons

 

Cancelation/Missed lessons policy

 

1. Makeups and cancellations of lessons can be a burden to manage. However in the case of a cancelation I should be informed at least 24 hours-7 days in advance. (Informing me the same day/few hours prior to our lesson will not be appreciated)

 

   2.If you feel the need to reschedule the lessons you can email me at waliapritesh17@gmail.com.

 

In case of an event or a gig opportunity I cancel a lesson, you will be informed 24 hours-7 days in advance and would be granted either a partial credit or a makeup for that lesson.
